UNLEASH CREATIVE POTENTIAL

TRACPATCH

TracPatch is a cutting-edge remote patient monitoring system designed to enhance patient recovery and improve provider-patient engagement. Using advanced surface sensor technology, TracPatch tracks vital metrics such as knee range of motion, steps, temperature, and pain scores in real-time. This enables healthcare providers to make informed, evidence-based decisions that optimize patient care and accelerate recovery. The primary users of TracPatch are patients undergoing rehabilitation and healthcare providers such as physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, and healthcare administrators. For patients, TracPatch offers a user-friendly wearable sensor and a companion app that helps them track their progress and follow personalized rehabilitation plans. It also keeps them motivated and engaged in their recovery process, providing immediate feedback and support. For healthcare providers, TracPatch delivers actionable insights through data visualization and monitoring tools, allowing them to track patient progress remotely. This not only helps in adjusting care plans as needed but also reduces in-person visits and enables more efficient use of resources. By detecting potential complications early and ensuring adherence to prescribed rehabilitation protocols, TracPatch helps prevent costly readmissions and improves overall care outcomes. By bridging the gap between patients and healthcare providers, TracPatch enhances communication, increases patient satisfaction, and empowers patients to take charge of their recovery, all while improving the overall efficiency of the healthcare system.

SANTEC MOVU

The Santec MOVU device, marketed under the brand name ARGOS®, is an advanced non-invasive, non-contact ophthalmic biometer that utilizes Swept Source Optical Coherence Tomography (SS-OCT) technology to measure eye parameters in patients preparing for cataract surgery. By capturing high-resolution images of the eye, the device measures critical parameters such as axial length, corneal thickness, and anterior chamber depth to facilitate pre-operative planning, intra-operative guidance, and post-operative assessment. The significance of the MOVU device lies in its integration of diagnostic measurements with surgical planning tools, streamlining the cataract surgery process and potentially improving patient outcomes. Its adoption of SS-OCT technology allows for detailed imaging, which is crucial for accurate diagnostics and effective treatment planning in ophthalmology.

SAVI SCOUT

An MDEA award-winning design, the SAVI SCOUT® surgical guidance system is a groundbreaking, non-invasive, wire-free technology used for the localization of non-palpable breast tumors. It utilizes radar signal detection to accurately guide surgeons during lumpectomy and other breast-conserving surgeries. A miniature reflector is placed at the tumor site prior to surgery, enabling real-time localization with sub-millimeter accuracy via a handheld detector. The significance of the SAVI SCOUT® system lies in its ability to enhance surgical precision, improve patient comfort, and increase procedural flexibility. Its wire-free, radiation-free approach allows for reflector placement days or weeks ahead of surgery, streamlining scheduling and reducing patient anxiety. Recognized for its innovative impact on clinical outcomes and workflow efficiency, SAVI SCOUT® continues to set a new standard in breast cancer surgery and surgical oncology.

IRIS DIAGNOSTICS

The UC, UA, and UM devices together form an integrated, fully automated urinalysis solution designed to enhance laboratory efficiency and accuracy. The UA unit performs urine chemistry analysis, while the UM unit utilizes advanced digital flow morphology technology combined with auto-particle recognition software to analyze urine sediment through high-resolution imaging. The UC workcell integrates these functions, streamlining sample processing and data management in a single workflow. By combining automated chemistry and microscopy analysis, the system measures critical urine parameters and identifies various sediment particles—such as red and white blood cells, epithelial cells, casts, crystals, bacteria, and yeast—facilitating rapid and precise diagnostic results for clinical decision-making. The significance of these devices lies in their ability to reduce manual microscopic reviews, improve throughput with processing capacities exceeding 100 samples per hour, and deliver standardized, reproducible results. Their automation and integrated software support edit-free release and onboard validation, optimizing laboratory workflow and enhancing diagnostic confidence in urinalysis.

MEMORY AIR

The Science Lab Memory Air is an innovative, non-invasive olfactory stimulation device designed to aid cognitive restoration in patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. By delivering carefully controlled scent-based stimuli, the device engages the olfactory pathways to stimulate memory recall and cognitive function. The significance of the Memory Air device lies in its therapeutic approach that leverages the strong connection between the sense of smell and memory centers in the brain. Its portable and easy-to-use design enables repeated olfactory stimulation sessions in clinical or home settings, promoting enhanced mental engagement and potentially slowing cognitive decline. Through its integration of neuroscience and sensory therapy, Memory Air offers a promising adjunctive treatment to improve quality of life for patients suffering from neurodegenerative conditions.
